I have not bought too many clothes recently, but a few things in the Talbots circular/Catalog that was mailed to me caught my eye, and then I got an email yesterday saying that as part of pre-black Friday promotions you could get anyone item for 50% off. The store was quite busy, but I found the vest that I liked in the color that I wanted and purchased it. I think you could get 40% off the rest of your purchase, but I didn’t get anything else. She also said that she thought that you could come in every day and get one item for 50% off.

Just curious if anyone else went to the store or ordered something yesterday.

I love Talbots but have not set foot in a store for many years, I shop online only. But I am on their advisory team and love it!

Talbots have fabulous sales. I get their emails announcing sales which is often; I never pay full price. They carry almost everything in Petite, which is what I need, and there is a store 10 minutes from my home. I order online, often 30,40,50% off and if it doesn't fit I can return to the store free! Also, if your a regular shopper and have their credit card you earn rewards once you spend a certain amount you get $25.00 off a future order.

I have bought in the past but only when there is free shipping.

I have a store that is about 10-15 minutes away but in past years they have been known not to have the best customer service or the best selection of goods.

They do have good sales every now and again but I have also bumped into shipping issues but I will say it was attended to in a good manner.

I just have not purchase many clothing items. I think that the last few clothing purchases I made though in general were from QVC.

@GoodyShoes.. glad you found a vest you liked and wanted! And yes, that is correct u can buy 1 item a day @ 50% off. I did not make it to the store yesterday or today, because we were experiencing nasty weather. I might try tomorrow driving there. Enjoy shopping.

I am tempted to go to the store but I have been shopping online with Talbots....love them.  I just got a catalog that I have no business looking at but I know I will.

@GoodyShoes The 50% and 40% off everything else is for Talbots card holders only.  Otherwise the only thing 40% off is a limited number of items (like sweaters)  and sale items.  That deal isn't for non-card holders until later this month.  I went to our local store today to try on a particular skirt, but our store didn't get it in petites.  I started to buy a sweater, but decided to wait and see what else I want.
