I am about the same height and look a little smaller. I wear a size medium.  And that is all I will say.

I think JT looks so wide in the hips because the rest of her is fairly small, and she is also very short.

I know  the camera adds pounds - but only to some people?  How can she possibly be so much smaller than others who clearly look smaller than she does on camera?

I mean if Amy says she had to size up to a small - or even that she's in an xsmall, how can Jane possibly also be wearing a small?  I've seen this and I just shake my head.

I like Jane, but who cares if she has to wear a larger size?  Why the need to claim to be so small.  I wear a medium or sometimes a large - so what?

You really can't go by what the hosts say. "Squeeze" is the right word. Shawn said her jeans were a size 2, while a thin model next to her was wearing a size 4. You could see Shawn was much larger than the model.

It's not best to go by the size the hosts say. Instead, I go by the largest part of my body and order such. 

Some hosts don't care about size, but some very much do and will squeeze into the size they insist on being, no matter if they look like sausage squeezed into jeans. Pay more attention to model sizes and how they fit.

non issue for me

i have been dressing myself for a few decades now.  what some sales person on a shopping site wears means zero to me.

i am perplexed about the high volume of concern about their sizes.  

it may be a masked attempt to discredit a not liked host.

'All I know' is when the slimmest models are wearing tight-ish pants, I size up.

I guess that's why I prefer the pant styles that are straight leg types.......they hang in a straight line, not too close to the body (legs/back side, etc.).
