i understand, several disagree and state it often

i have fit preferences as well.   i wear things big.  i like that.  my sis who is about same size wears things tight.  ugh.  but that is her choice.  she is not fibbing, that is just what she likes.

I usually go by the garment measurements, but even these can be off - or as has happened, I order 2 of something and one fits and the other doesn't and maybe neither actually meet the stated measurements.

It would really help if the hosts - and models - would wear what fits them and then would be honest about the need to size up or down in particular garments.

I'm going through a real mess with the recent Ryka TSV shoes that are completely missized and yet there was no indication of this from the hosts during the many sales pitches.

Same here, @Isobel Archer , with Ryka. I ordered their Recodvering shoes, 8 Med. The length was right, but the width was huge. I used to like Ryka and decided to give them another try, but their sizing is off.

I believe Jane says she is a small.  I don't believe she is, but in her reality I guess that is what she is.

I remember in days gone by Jane would always tell us that she was a size small or size 6. I also remember when she did the baseball shows.

I would never go by what Jane says but by what I see. She tugs on her clothes quite often. She looks so uncomfortable in her own skin. Now when she wears her correct size she looks pretty good for her size. When you are short and stout it is harder to dress. If you notice the plus size models are almost always tall as it's easier to dress. Jackie the tall blonde w is the plus size always looks good and I know she is not a small.

Sometimes Jane says she is in the small. Lately, I have heard her say Medium. I think it can depend on the item and how fitted it is.

Not true.  Jacqui has  never said she wore a medium.  At one time she was larger and has lost weight.  She is a size 14 and wears a QVC size large.
