We all know that QVC uses vanity sizing. I normally would take an XL top in brick & mortar stores, but in QVC sizing I take a Large. I recently ordered A3113 (a Denim & Co.) toggle sweater jacket. I even watched the video about it. The host did not mention anything about the jacket being extra large or that we should size down.
I did read the reviews. Some of them mentioned that it was sized larger than normal. I thought that living in the North, since I would wear about three layers underneath it (cami, blouse, sweater), my regular size should be OK then. Well, it turns out that this jacket is GI-Normous!!!! With three layers under it, the shoulders are hanging off my shoulder, and the sleeves are about 4-5" too long! Now I have to send it back and re-order in Medium. Grrrrrr. Frustrating!!
It is absolutely beautiful...even nicer than it looks on the site, but isn't it the host's responsibility to tell you to size down on something like this? They obviously know the sizing is way, way off!
