Daytime Sparkle

Today I wore a top I ordered from the Kohls web site. It's a taupe color that went well with a Vera Wang earth tones necklace that I have. When I ordered it I didn't realize that it had gold sparkle. It's more subtle than nighttime sparkle.

It boosted my spirits a bit today. I like sparkle in my jewelry too. I used to have a silver pair of sparkly New Balance sneakers. Loved them. Unfortunately I had to donate them when my feet suddenly turned into wides.

Does anyone else like some daytime sparkle? I also have a very blinged out LaBellum top. I have worn it during the day, with a black shrug over it to tone it down.

I've definitely learned since last September that Iife's too short to be afraid of some sparkle☺

I love anytime sparkle. I purchased some Nine West sneakers that has some bling. I also purchase Labellum embroidered sparkle jean jacket. I can't wait to get it. Life is definitely too short to be afraid to sparkle.

I do like a bit of glitz. I have some shirts that have a metallic finish (in gold, silver or bronze). One white top has a really subtle gold glow that you don't see in sunlight - but looks fab in low light.

One wildly embellished denim shirt from Indigo Moon.

And - one white summer tunic that has some silver threads running through it.

I used to have some silver sneakers ... I left them at my folks' house one year and I think their dog ate them.

I keep my jewelry fairly simple.

I do. I spent my days in an office with beige walls, grey cubicles, and no windows unless I leave my desk and walk around a wall and down two hallways.

I try to bring some sparkle to my day so the physical enviornment isn't so soul-crushing.

Sparkle seems to be very prevalent in clothing today for daytime wear. Look at all the sparkle in Quacker Factory and in other lines of Q clothing. Metallics are very popular in shoes; we even see sparkly sneakers. Sparkle is not just for nighttime any more.

I love a little sparkle and shine. I wear suit jackets to work with black slacks and I wear bling bracelets that kind of spruce up the outfit. I wear bracelets every day to work and sometimes I wear a necklace too but I think it looks good and that is all that counts. Besides my hubby bought a few of the bracelets for me. I think it is good to wear them every day rather than wait for a special occasion.

Sparkle is my favorite color Always has been and always will be. I don't really care if it's in style or not, I love it.

I like some sparkle but not head-to-toe at once. I usually will wear one sparkly thing at a time. May spring for some sparkly tennis shoes for spring!
