Re: DONATED 8 TRASH BAGS OF CLOTHES/SHOES

I just did the same thing last week.  I donated a little over 50 pairs of shoes mostly high heels that I no longer can or will wear again and all in pristine condition.  I also donated blankets, and about 4 bags of clothing and I still have a long way to go before i'm done but I am on a mission.

I read recently that many donation go to the landfill or other use than sales. Slowed down my buying and donating.

@traveler  I did my part by donating with good intentions. What they do w/ the clothing after that is out of my control.

I’ve braced all my closet rods myself. I just go to LOews or Home Depot and Buy the braces and hardware. You don’t even need to remove the rods. You leave the rods in place. I use wall anchors and screws when I’m working with drywall.
