I'll bet the boot-cut jeans TS today came as a surprise to many!

I still haven't tried her jeans because of the huge difference in reviews. People tend to love them or hate them. I am streaming her online right now and she mentioned she added several inches to the waist for baby boomers like herself. All her jeans are like that? If that is the case they would probably not work for me. I've got an hourglass shape with a small waist compared to my hips.

I like the striped top but it is not something I'd buy for spring/summer because I live in a warm climate.

You lucky girl! No, I don't recommend these to you, they will fall off your waist.

That's NOT true! I have a slim, hourglass figure, and as long as you order the right size, they WILL fit you. I'm a B/M 4/6 28 in regular jeans. I always order a 2T in DG2 and most of the time, it fits like it was made for me. The waist is NOT too big.

I'm really just curious...have you been buying DG2 for a long time? The reason I asked is that up until the last 6 or 8 months, she always stood there constantly stretching the waist of the jeans and talking about how they had 6" of stretch for "baby boomers" whose weight had settled in their middle like her..that was the reason she "invented" DG2. I'm one of those (maybe a "little" older than the baby boomers). And they were so stretchy sometimes I could take them off without unbuttoning or unzipping them (I have quite a few pair). Then when I tried the dip dye, I realized that's no longer the case-they have little stretch in the waist...garment measurements say maybe 3" but I would say more like 2", so I had to send them back. I tried these pickstitch jeans and had to go up a size to get the waist to fit.

So I was just wondering if you know when she changed this aspect of her jeans. I watched several of her recent shows, and she doesn't stand there stretching the jeans any more, she doesn't talk about the stretch for baby boomers, and I haven't heard her mention that there is not as much stretch as before. It's as though it's being played down. Do you have any idea when it changed?
