I have several sweaters from Talbots' 2013 spring/summer collection in a color they called "cucumber." It is a cool medium green, and I don't have anything to wear with them. I like a monochromatic look, and these jeans look like they might match that cucumber color. I don't wear capris and crops in the summer, I just switch to lightweight jeans and platform sandals, so these might work. I'm still not crazy about that ramie content, though. My wardrobe has been a strict "no ramie" zone since the 1980s. Still thinking . . . .
FS, I love Talbots cucumber green... got one of their sweaters on clearance and it was too small, by then they did not have my size. If you get the green TS let us know how you like them.
It's odd, I know posters who say they have an hourglass figure say the DG2's don't fit in the waist, but mine are OK... maybe it's the size I got or the stretch. Think I got one pair where the waist was too big so I returned them.
I'm enjoying these shows. I got one of her cardigans and have one of her tees, the quality is great... so I'm tempted by the TS tee. Have so many of her jeans already.

For those who say no one gets those, the TS is up around 70,000.

I loved that color so much that I got three different sweaters - cardigan, boat neck 3/4 sleeve with button detail, and elbow sleeve. I know what you mean about the sweater being small. My usual size was a little more streamlined than I expected. I also have that 3/4 version in navy and black. I think I'm going to give the green version of these jeans a try. I just don't know what size to order, though, since Diane said she is wearing a size 4 and that really confuses me about what size to order myself.

If you are on the fence about the green, I urge you to try. This is a great color. It looks very similar to a color in jean she offered last year, which I have shrunk out of. I ordered a skinny DG2 green jean on sale and ordered this boot cut today. I find I have endless things to wear with this green. I love it. Plus I am thinking about ordering the Twiggy floral sneakers to go with it. I have so many pairs of DG2 since losing weight. I have a wardrobe in size 14 down to size 8. Luckily most of her jeans are pretty affordable. Oh, I also love pairing my green jeans with Talbot cardigans.

You lost a lot! WTG!
I have the Twiggy sneakers in Fuchsia Floral on my Favorites list but I would like any color I could get! the price is not bad now but I will probably wait for them to go on clearance. I'm between sizes & not sure how they run so that stops me, too.

Yes, she does sell many thousands every time she's on--they also advertise that she has sold over 5 million pairs - unfortunately, I don't think that includes all the ones that have been returned if you read some of the reviews. Don't get me wrong, I like the ones I have, it's just that the sizing issues make it hard to get what fits - I ordered 4 pairs of the same jeans in 4 different colors a couple of years ago, and no two of them fit the same. I think I kept one pair--it has taken a lot of ordering and a lot of returning, but I finally have a lot of colors in bootcut and the skinny jean with the zipper at the bottom - you can open the zipper and it will be similar to a bootcut - good for summer with sandals-it lets your shoes show more.

I know there are many who are fans of this jean. The last time there was a DG jean special, I decided to see what was so special. I used the handy dandy HSN measurement guide to select the appropriate size by plugging in my measurements and then ordering the size recommended. The size seemed reasonable compared to other brands I had tried. When I got them, there was no way I could wear them as they would even close to zip. The legs were fine, the hips acceptable but the waist was a "no-no." The odd thing is that I am pear shaped, so if I ordered by the hip measurement, the waist should have been loose enough to close.

I am pear shaped too. The problem with her jeans, the rise is above my belly button. I have to order the tall inseam. I have tried 5 pairs. I must say the quality was very nice on all of the jeans. I wish they did fit !

I love her jeans but I'm not ordering these. The only thing different about them is that expressed stitching or whatever you call it. Every time she comes she has to have a difference in what she offers, so that was the moto jeans, the dip dyed jeans and now these. I wish she'd just come on with the good ole DG2s boot cut. I think she's sell another couple of million. I do like her tops today but in just a month 3/4 sleeves would smother me here.
