My perfect sweater would be a pullover v neck, flat knit w/o any cables. I like lightweight cotton in spring/summer and cashmere or cotton/cashmere blend for fall/winter. Long sleeves instead of 3/4 because my arms are long & I prefer to push them up myself if I wish. Length...mid-hip, not longer or shorter. My broad shoulders look better with a shoulder seam rather than raglan sleeve.

Colors: Black (surprise), any of 50 shades of grey, white, true red or olive.

What is your perfect sweater?

@kelsey17  It’s difficult to find the mid-hip length, right? Tunics seem to prevail.

Re: DESIGN YOUR PERFECT SWEATER

Cozy cardigan with pockets, simple long sleeves.

Plain v-neck style or crew style with a collar

I want buttons, whether I choose to use them or not

No V-necks. I'm so sick of them! Bateau neck, which looks amazing with or without a shirt underneath. Cotton blend (95% or greater cotton), machine washable. I like to throw my sweaters in the dryer on low for about 5 minutes then I hang them on an old-fashioned wooden drying rack. Sleeve length appropriate for the season. Flat knit or baby cable/rib pattern. Classic colors -- navy, hunter green, burgundy, barn red, camel tan...

No kidding about the tunics. And on five-feet-nothing me, they look like a micro-minidress. Smiley Frustrated

As long as they have a ribbed cuff, I'm okay with anything.
