Dear Joan ~ I do believe when it is your time, IT IS your time. But, I am deeply saddened the way this happened. Why, I have tickets to see you next year! This just doesn't seem right. You taught me all about Faberge and his beautiful eggs. Do you know how many museums I have dragged my husband to, just to see the originals!! I have many of "Your" originals, and the egg necklace, not to mention all of your jewelry over two decades. I have had people come up to me soooo many times asking me where I got that watch or the earrings. Do I even get started on the beautiful clothes I have purchased from you? Who is going to dress me now? You have not only made me laugh, you have inspired me. Thank you for that. I know why bees should not fly and how ladybugs came to the earth. But this has remained in my mind, since the first time I heard you say it, 20 years ago, "Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, Today is God's gift, that's why we call it the present." Thank you for ALL your presents. I will miss you, Joan. May you be at peace...

This doesn't seem right. Seemed like she had so much more to do. I will miss her terribly! I was just looking through her line of clothing recently for something to wear to a wedding. She has the classiest clothing on QVC. All her products are top quality and classy.
I keep watching the news on TV and all I do is cry. I'm having a lot of trouble dealing with this and I didn't even meet her.
RIP Joan and thank you for all the great memories.
Condolences to Melissa and Cooper.

Susan, you are right on target...she taught me all these things too. Just like a Grandmother would. I kind of feel like Kelly Osbourne... she taught me so much about life and about living and laughter, and about not taking things so seriously. And about laughing at yourself and circumstances in which you find yourself. And that's what I will take away from "knowing and loving" her. And I will carry Joan Rivers in my heart every day in some tiny way always.

What a beautiful thread.
I feel the same way as all of you. Even though I never met her, she was a part of my life. I didn't realize just how big that part was until she passed. It does feel like the time of her passing was "off"...she was still so vibrant & FULL of energy. But now that I think about it, maybe going out on a high note was the way Joan would have wanted it.
Thank you to QVC & all the hosts for paying such loving tribute to our friend Joan Rivers. We love you Joan, & will miss you terribly.

I agree what a beautiful post. I too am surprised at how difficult a time I am having upon Joan's passing. I loved her old school classic style and wisdom. Rest easy dear lady, rest easy.

I remember Joan saying this and it is so true. I too feel such a loss. Never met her or saw her in person, but she was such an inspiration to us especially during tough times. I guess it was "her time", but didn't seem it should have been. She was such an intelligent, energetic and vibrant person. I hope she knew how many fans she had. My heart goes out to Melissa and Cooper. They must be in shock that all this has happened. Rest in Peace, Joan--a great lady.

Thank you, ladies, for allowing me to share the grief I feel after Joan's passing although, like most of you, I never met her nor saw her perform in person. I simply don't feel "myself" and am processing the fact that she is gone from this Earth....I cry often when viewing the retrospectives on her life.
When she celebrated her 80th birthday on QVC I was kind of amazed as I never knew she was close to 80!! I noted the fact that when she appeared it was late at night or in the AM and she was always standing...in little "kitten heels...." describing her items on the air.
I realized that she was determined to go "full throttle" and not relent in any area to advancing chronological age.
Bravo to this great lady for inspiring the rest of us to never waste a moment of whatever life God has bestowed on each of us. Rest in peace, Joan...we will miss you!

I still have it, and the coordinating earrings. It was and remain simply beautiful. Thanks for posting. Never heard that before, wow that's great .
