Just happened to tune in and see them presenting D&Co A596314 Comfy Knit Slim Jeans.  Hey, I could use that color in slacks, I thought.  Then I saw the pricing for these....$72.58 for Denim & Co.  NOT doin' that.  I'm a little shocked.  I know prices have really gotten high, but these were going to be casual wear for me.  Just venting here this a.m.  Terry shorts now for almost $40.  Pricing just not working for me for day to day wear.

Also, since venting, I felt the model needed to size up as the bulges were showing thru the slacks below her shapewear.  Doesn't anyone backstage say "whooaa" before going in front of the camera?

I so understand----I used to buy exclusively D & Co---when you could get a whole outfit for under $50---now, I have such a hard time spending that kind of $$ for a pair of jeans----no matter what brand it is and really, nothing fits me anymore --so I go IN PERSON--to shop and try things on --no more returns or waiting on shipping----also agree that some of the models need to size up.

Re: D& Co Today....Really?

@1 DancinQueen    They had those Comfy Knit pants in pastels just a year ago.  I don't remember the exact price but they were probably about $40., because I bought 2 pairs.  They're very heavy poly knit and it was already too warm to wear them.  I put them away and now can't find them.  Haven't searched too diligently.

Pam is the regular model for D&C and can't help that she has heavy legs.  They continue to use her to model close-fitting pants.  If she sized up, they'd fall off her hips and waist and still be too tight in the legs.

I think they use Pam because she is representative of many customers.  Also Jamie, who I swear is losing weight.

I bought and returned the comfy knit because very heavy and UNcomfy to wear, right size or not.

I have no idea how they continue to say all their jeans are high end....if they are, then give me cheap jeans please. Cat Mad

I can't believe 50.00 for shorts ! I just bought 2 pair from Kohl's Mon for 26 a piece . They were brand new so that's why they were that price usually cheaper, but, they had my size and pretty colors since they was new shipment.

Hate Kohl's cashier's "do you have a Kohl's charge"?

NO, AND I DON'T WANT ONE !!!! Boy, it makes them mad when you whip out another card or pay cash.

must be on commission.

I used to buy Denim & Co., but no longer.  The clothes are not designed for my 5'2" pear shaped body.  Everything seems to be made more for people who are apple shaped and tall.  I can't relate at all to Pam and it seems she is the only one they have modeling all the tine.  Even the rare petite models are shaped differently than me.  I've moved on and am glad, since the prices are so exorbitant.
