Re: Companies that still mail catalogs?

Vermont Country Store is great. I always feel cozy getting them. Another collective catalogue that is still be sent out that has resale value is American Girl Doll. I miss the QVC Insider! That was so fun.

I was super excited to get the Pottery Barn catalog at Christmas time. It's a beauty! Other than that I only get The Company Store pretty regularly (but it's a tiny catalog).

Re: Companies that still mail catalogs?

Back in the day we would receive the very large catalogs from Sears, Penney's, Alden, Montgomery Ward, and Spielgel. We loved these things and would go through them over and over.  Of course, the Christmas ones were pure joy!  Our parents told us to go through them and circle the things we liked.  Didn't mean we would get everything but it gave them a good idea of what we wanted!

I get a few small catalogs here and there.  I love getting them.  Nothing like seeing things in the printed page so that you can keep looking at them and get all the facts right at once.

Re: Companies that still mail catalogs?

I still receive a few catalogs - and they are from companies I have never ordered from - such as Talbots, Garnet Hill.  I get Johnny Was, ME&EM (love their clothes but too pricey and nice for my lifestyle).  Some "catalogs" are more like pamphlets now a days - AYR is more like that, Printfresh, etc.

I really miss the good ole J Crew catalog that used to be thick.  I don't get anything from them in the mail and I order online from them quite often.  They must have put a halt on that.

Coldwater Creek.  Pricey but nice but also pricey shipping and returns.  We used to have a store in town years ago.  Now that we do not,  I never order.  They used to have great in store sales...

Re: Companies that still mail catalogs?

I get a Woman Within catalog every 2 or 3 weeks. But companies will drop you from their mailing list if you don't buy for a long time. Also get Swiss Colony at Christmas. What I miss is the Blair Catalog. Had great quality items for men, but unfortunately went out of business last year.
