I like Brooks clothing line, but she did say that she can't  sketch, and she pulls pictures together for her team to work on with her. In other words, she takes ideas from other designers, and just mixes it up.

It sounds as though she’s being very honest and straightforward about her role and working with a team on the designs. She contributes her ideas and experiences and works with people who have the expertise to put everything together.

I like Clinton. He is very pleasant to listen to, but his line isn’t really what I expected. I haven’t seen much that interested me. I debated ordering a dress, but the reviews weren’t very good so I passed on it.

I finally watched one of her shows and I think she is a delight! She seemed a little nervous but I find her charming! And I liked a lot of her things too! Although I had only looked at pictures previously I think they've gotten better.

I dvr'd Clinton's show also and was not as impressed. He says all the right things but I think his hands are tied by the Q's buyers

I think QVC Puts a lot of limitations on what designers can bring to theQ. That's probably why everything is looking more and more alike across board!

@ Montana I totally agree! WNTW was 1 of my favorite shows. When I saw his line being brought to QVC, I expected something quite different than what I've seen.

@Barb114  He can't dress himself so how do you expect him to design clothes for women?

He had a dress on once and literally ran over to the model and ripped off the belt and said this dress really doesn't need a belt and went on to style it by rolling up the sleeps and undoing a top button.

He knows the stuff looks super frumpy and does what he can to make it wearable within the limitations QVC sets for modesty dressing and having to hide every trouble spot any woman has ever had or thinks she has.

There was a designer, Catherine something I believe, that went from QVC to HSN. A blond woman probably in her 40s possibly early 50s that was quite candid about the limitations that were set upon her! I haven't seen her since that first visit probably a year ago and my guess is with so much lost in translation she probably made the choice not to pursue the line on a shopping channel.

Two of the things I recall her mentioning were that she use more colors than she was comfortable with and everything had to stretch!
