What do you think of this Marc New York chevron puffer jacket? I think the color combination is beautiful, but the shiny fabric is holding me back from buying it. (It’s also available in 3 other color combos).

ShopHQ has a nice selection of Marc New York coats. Kind of spendy though when they're not being presented!

I like it.  Does have a bit more shine than I'd like but could that be just the pic and it's not quite that shiny?

This coat reminds me of the Guess jacket @lolakimono  posted on another thread. I prefer this color combination over the Guess jacket, and I don't mind the puff or shine. 

My problem is the length. I need a longer length. I am super long torso'd. 

Someone mentioned a retro-feel and I would agree. I can remember being in middle school and all the rage was ski jackets! Considering I live in the deep south it's kind of funny to think about that now....

I agree with you that I like the color combo, but I am not a fan of the shine.  I think the shine makes it appear puffier.  It's also quite cropped for a jacket.  I think I would like this more if it were a vest.

Any shiny fabric makes the wearer look much larger than she is.
