I don't like the points on the bodice or the flare at the bottom either. I'm surprised she wore Givenchy, she usually wears Dior because of her endorsement deal with them.

I think the first picture shows the bottom well in terms of why it doesn't look good. The second picture is one she posted online, why isn't that me and my life lol

I'm not a fan of the dress either.  I don't care for the points at the armpits on the bodice nor do I care for the ruffle at the bottom.

Givenchy used to dress Audrey Hepburn and I never saw her in anything that looked liked this. Really not attractive and I think they did Charlize an injustice.

Take a beautiful girl, put her in that dress and cut off all her hair? Makes little to no sense to me..

She is gorgeous, but there is nothing I like about this dress. I dislike the bodice, the skirt, the ruffles, and the overall shape of it.

@Carol Diane   In the picture of her sitting, there appear to be hoops in the bottom part of the skirt which will make the skirt pop up.  I do not understand the rationale for putting them there, but what a PITA when the skirt is divided, in half like this with a part that pops up and a pop meant to stay down and remain svelte.  The top is hideous because of the wings at the arms.  Very poorly designed, IMHO.  Beautiful woman.  I bet she did not like the look once she put it on.  Charo used to wear dresses similar to this but the design was much better, the way the bottom began to flare out at the back and slipped to the front very easily, not just pop out like a jack-in-the-box.

Here is why this dress fails:  She is a mature woman who has dressed like she is going to the high school prom.  She should have dressed for the event.

I think the flounce gives the appearance her hips fell into it...sorry but I am not loving the dress.

Pretty bathroom (what we see of it), but why would you want a photo done of you sitting on the commode with a flute of champagne?

Is she expecting to have to pee soon?
