I have the one you pictured.  I am a square dancer and have used it for theme dances.  And also I wear it shopping as well.  Timeless and fun.

I have many character sweaters.  I will admit when I taught school I wore them more often.

I enjoy the holiday sweaters and wear them when the occasion arises.

When I read the post title (character sweaters) I honestly thought it was about Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, etc.

I had several themed sweaters, tops, and button front shirts when I taught elementary school. I even had a blazer with embroidered giraffes on it from QF. Lots of teachers wore holiday themed clothing.

When I started teaching middle school and Junior high I stopped wearing holiday themed clothing. I felt a bit self-conscious being the only staff member wearing those kinds of items. I was younger and more concerned about what people would think. I ended up donating them all.

I wish I had kept a few of my favorites. As I've aged, I've become less concerned about what others think I should or shouldn't wear.
