🎃 It's an easy and effortless way to bring a smile to someone's face, and for that touch of happiness it brings to someone who might be having an otherwise lousy day it's just so worth it.

Do you have any and wear them?  I'm referring to the tops/sweatshirts/sweaters with the designs for the seasons or holidays. (ex. Quacker Factory)

What is an appropriate age to wear them and at what age does one stop?

@Puzzle Piece    I think it is just a matter of comfort rather than age in any clothing that people choose.  I personally don't care for character sweaters...or huge words of any kind.....but I did get one as a gift.  It is from Land's End.  It is called Amelia Bearheart...it has a small picture of a bear with aviation headgear....obviously a take on Amelia Earhart.  It's cute.    My brother is big on bear gifts.....long story.  It was a Christmas gift.
My one exception is my Steelers sweatshirt.

I wear some (actually quite a lot) of animal shirts and sweaters. I used to wear Steeler themed shirts, sweatshirts, etc until they brought Michael Vick on board, every piece of Steeler stuff went to Goodwill or the trash.

I love wearing holiday clothing!

Re: Character Sweathers

[ Edited ]

My heartfelt thanks to all who have replied.

I live where there are 'trohy wives' and RHO...... It's not a done thing - not even for the grandkids.  I will try one item and see how much enjoyment I have.

No sport team wear.  It can get you into trouble with those that oppose a team.

I wear some and t shirts with sayings and stuff like that.  I wear what I like and what I am comfortable in.  I have a variety of things I like to wear.

I recently purged a bunch of sweatshirts with holiday stuff on them because getting old looking or just not as comfy on as I like.  Time to make space and organize so most of those went.  I would rather do a top or t shirt with a design and layer a plain sweater or jacket with it.  Just get too warm for heavy stuff any more.

I just decided to change things up.

You can't wear sweaters much in Central Florida but I have a Tee shirt for most of the Holidays.

It's one day, who cares how old I am?  It's fun!  I also have some College and NFL team shirts for game days.
