I go switch out from my fall winter clothes around the 1st of April. I keep a few light weight sweatshirts I bought from Amazon that I keep out year round. They are the perfect weight for early mornings or chilly nights outside.

Well, I live in southern California, so everything is in one large walk-in closet.   I never have to switch anything.

Having said that .........  I am going to do a purge for donations.

Too many people lost EVERYTHING in the Palisades and Altadena fires, so clothing donations of even "not perfect" garments are very much appreciated.

I plan to do that this week.  We had our first 80 degrees days and flowers and trees have burst into bloom so Spring has Sprung.

I plan to do it this week. The weather forecast is for warm weather all week, with cloudy/rainy days.

I started to switch over a week ago. Then we got some days that were 40 degrees. And I dug out some sweat pants and shirts.

I figure I will try again this week.

I did mine last month and brought items to my local consignment shop.

I did this last weekend, only we still have two kids at home, so i don't have an extra closet.  I keep my off season clothes in bins in the attic, so it is a little work, to bring all the bins down and reload them and bring them back up.    Plus my husband has been in the hospital since January 23rd, so I have not been home too much recently, but I did take a little time to do the switchover last weekend.

I helped my mom change out closets, oh what a job....when I moved out in 1968 that was the end of that for me.
