It is about to get hot here in Orangevale California. My to do list this week includes switching out my winter and summer closets. I plan to donate what I haven't worn in awhile. Who else is switching closets?

I am doing that as well,  I also have scheduled donation pickups so I am getting stuff together for that too.  I am amazed not surprised at the amount of handbags, shoes and clothing I have accumulated and no longer use or need.

I did it a week ago; it was in the low 80's here (New York) yesterday so I timed it right this year. Housing Works got a nice bag of donations.

Just about done doing my semi-annual closet switch here in Chicago.  I look forward to the change of wardrobe!

I'm going to start this week.  Supposed to be in the 60's and 70's here in New York.

I did that a few weeks ago, but the weather here in NC is a bit chaotic.  We went out for an early breakfast and grocery shopping on Friday and I wore a sweater as it was in the low 50s.  Oh well.

I used to do that, but now I have so much closet space that I have a winter one, a summer one and a sort of transition one.  Unfortunately, each closet contains three sizes.  I do have way too much, but I have to admit that I do like the fact that I never have to say I have nothing to wear!

I don't change closets. One side is long pants. The other is long sleeves and the other is short sleeves. I only have a couple of jackets and a few hoodies and they don't get worn very much.  I do have way to many purses though.

I'm glad someone else mentioned this.

It's one of those annoying things, having to switch out cold and hot weather clothes, and then leave a bit of overlap for the transition seasons.

I have 2 walk-in closets in my bedroom so I never need to change my clothes out 😁

I do try to go through them twice a year to get rid of things I've never used or needs replaced.
