Just popping in to say though I am fortunate not to have thigh chafing issues, I love wearing the boy short underwear under my dresses for modesty reasons.

I didn't know it was a "thing" until I saw a presentation on Shark Tank a long time ago to prevent it.

I don't remember the details of the product now.

@MezzieStarr  I love your post ! I'm right there with ya! I'm a petite size 4 and I'm sporty and athletic, I eat healthy food and still get thigh chafing. There's a great chafing stick product called Mega Babe Thigh Rescue and it is perfect to use when I'm wearing short shorts, body con dresses or pencil skirts. Some solutions ....

• I wear pantyhose with dresses. 

• I have a friend who wears bike shorts under dresses

• I don't know if they still make them .... pettipants.

I wear lots of shirt dresses and they're just to above the knee. If I'm outside it doesn't take much for my dresses to go UP. So I have lots of (what I call boy) shorts. They're mostly from Vanity Fair. and some from Breezies. So they're very feminine. Don't know why I call them boy shorts.

@MezzieStarr  Absolutely ! Mega Babe Thigh Rescue is a life saver for thigh chafing! Ooh I love that AC/DC 1980 hit "You Shook me all night long" song ! "Knocking me out with those American Thighs"!  That's my theme song haha!  I am a lover of all things 80's rock or hair metal and another song that I love is "All Lips and Hips" by Electric Boys- man that is a jam! "She's all lips n' hips- she knows how to use em' to make you flip!"   Rock on!

Some of us have bigger inner thighs so rubbing and/or chafing are real issues. I've never had chafing, but my inner thighs definitely touch each other. Wearing something to prevent that makes me more comfortable. 

In the warm weather I use a Jockey slip short or pettipants depending on the style and fit of my skirt or dress. I like pettipants better then half slips because in my experience pettipants don't ride up like half slips do. In cold weather I wear pantyhose or opaque tights with my pettipants.
