Can I wear it to a luncheon?

A jumpsuit that is navy, sleeveless with a little ruffle where the sleeve would connect to the bodice. No other adornment. I would not wear it sleeves or ornament it a lot, but wear a chiffon topper of same navy color tied at the waist. Does that scream cocktail party or evening wear?

Yes, that is what I fear. I will abandon that idea and save it for an evening event, or Christmas party which will be much dressier, and couple with some pearls. Thanks for your opinion. You confirmed mine.

@Nonametoday How about a cardigan you can wear over the shoulders or carry? YOu could also wear earrings and/or a bracelet.

To me, it doesn't scream that, but I don't know the luncheon gathering as you do. Hope you have a good time.

@Katcat1 I had considered that. I will put it together and see how it looks. Thanks. I really do not need to abandon this jumpsuit. I bought it for a special event and then decided against it. Now I have it and it is too cute to give away.

I think it sounds lovely. Are we talking about a dressy luncheon? I assume this isn't a trip to Panera! I would go for it if you feel comfortable in it.
