I bet this has been asked before...but as a newbee....what is the differance between Susan Gravers butter knit and liquid knit??

I own both and to me the difference is in both weight of the fabric and the feel. Butter knit is more dense and in my area definitely more suited for winter (find it a little too non-breathable for the warmer months).
Liquid knit has a slinky feel that I simply love, and wear year round. I realize it is not everyone's cup of tea, but for me it's easy care/wear and I don't have to mess with ironing or steaming!
(of which I like neither)
