They closed here (Texas) over a year ago. Just left...no closing sale or anything. Just shut the doors and moved out.

I just got a letter from Coldwater Creek saying that they were going to be closing.

Any additional info on this? Bon worth is just about all my mom (70) wears. Inexpensive but nice quality, and she always looks very nice and put together.

I've passed by one of these stores in the local mall many times, but never shopped there. I did a little research on the company, and found this interesting:

"Bon Worth is an American retail clothing chain which manufactures its own clothing from a plant in Hendersonville, North Carolina."


They're looking to find a buyer for the chain; hopefully they will, as I'd like to buy clothing made in the US rather than a China sweatshop. I almost hate to check out the store before I find out what happens, as I wouldn't want to love it and then have them close!
