I got some here in my correct size and I am a small person.  They felt great upon 1st wear after a wash but soon became painful and caused burising on my shins.

I read and now wrote a review.  Is it your opinion that the ones from QVC are different or defective as another reviewer wrote?

I have never ordered from the Bomba company, anyone else have this problem?  Are the socks from the company different?

Re: Bomba Socks

[ Edited ]

I have several pairs from Bombas and don't have a problem. I order directly from Bombas, not QVC. Just a guess, but I'm thinking the ones from Bombas are probably better. QVC might cheap them out to save a penny or two.

I could be wrong, but I sometimes feel that when a shopping  channel gives you a better price it is not the exact same quality you get it for at a higher price.  Not all items , but especially clothing. I think the manufacturers give you a lesser fabric so the shopping channel can give you a better price.

I ordered a few pairs directly from Bomba. I tried them for a few days, but didn't like the, at all.  They were way too tight.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@Janey2  You are  not wrong!  I believe this is true with most of the products they sell on air.  For instance many years back I purchased a Dell laptop on the Q, it lasted about 2 years then it died. (it was not overused)  I took it to a local computer repair shop.  The guy asked me where I had gotten it as the inside technology was extremely cheap!   Needless to say they couldn't repair it and it was junked, lesson learned.

:Looked at their website - expensive!

I buy mine from Hanes --  Cool Comfort - on sale now for about $6 and change for six pairs.  Comfortable.

I have had the same lightweight calf sock from Bombas directly and recently QVC.  Exactly the same.  Two other styles from Bombas I got before the winter were tight on my calf, so if you are trying for the first time, go for the lightweight calf sock.  Calling them defective is a ploy to not pay shipping back in some cases.

^^ This

Bombas are tight socks. I own many pairs and got them all when the company first started. They have replaced 3 pairs for me that got holes in the heels because they have a 100% guarantee through their website,

I do think if your calf is a little more athletic these socks will be too much. They never fall down that's for sure, And if you look at the fabric content there is rubber in them so many may not like the snugness of them,
