Do you have black bottoms?  I'm curious as to what prompted the "new" color beyond brown.

Hmmm, let me look in my closet  (pitter, patters down the hall).

I have one pair of black slacks. 

I have a dark grey (pikolinos color name - lead) pair of boots.  I thought it might be fun to switch out the dark grey with black sometimes.

I almost bought these (Lucky Brand - Bartolino)

Then I thought about the zipper edging all the way around that might snag my socks.

@Bird mama, I have a pair of Lucky brand boots and I think they are the most comfortable boots I own.  I also just bought a pair of Lucky brand suede slippers with faux sherpa lining and trim, and I love those, too.  Really well made and comfy brand.  Also love their jeans.
