@goldensrbest

I'm also a big shirt fan. No favorite brand.  All I care about is fabric / color / and solids or stripes is all I buy.

I prefer them roomy and wear them over sleeveless tops.

I have  bunch that I've "collected" over the years.  I even have some of SG's early big shirts (remember peach skin fabrics?).... probably 20+ years old ... still wearing them.

I have one that's really old - chambray that I bought maybe 30 years ago.

Lately (last five years or so) I got some from QVC, JCP, Chico's, Blair, Nordsrom's Rack and a couple of other NYC stores.  I have 2 or 3 C Wonder that I bought on clearance from QVC.

Not really meant to be a "big shirt", but I buy an xl and they work as a big shirt for me, Lilly Pulitzer Sea View linen shirts.  I buy the prints, but they also come in solids.   I'm 5'1" and they are oversized on me, I roll the sleeves and wear with white shorts, its my go to for spring/summer.  There are 3 prints currently on ebay that I have and love, listing for $45.  I usually buy preowned, like new on the various resale sites.  I've paid as much as $70 and as little as $25 the last few weeks.  Retail are $118 or so, but Lilly Pulitzer is having a sale, last day today and some solids are in the $50 range.  I love the prints so much, I just stick to those.

I wear "big shirts" as toppers with sleeveless tops in the summer.  A lot of mine are Talbots, old Eddie Bauer, Coldwater Creek and several others that are all cotton or lyocell.  Mostly wear all cotton and the colors vary.  In winter, I wear a lot of flannel "big shirts" from Carhartt or Pendleton.  I like that I can roll the sleeves and button as comfortable for the temperature.

I've been known to walk directly to the Men's Dept. or Young Men's Dept.......

I, too, like roomy open weave shirts during the warm Summer days or when I'm visiting warmer areas.

I have a light blue men's open weave 'window pane' weave shirt that, years ago, I cut a bit shorter and hemmed it myself.  It dips slightly in the front and the back sides.

For posters here who don't mind sewing hems, just follow the hemline of the men's shirt, (where it dips down)  and carefully sew/hem it.  Or fabric glue it, etc.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I don't know if they are big shirts but they are longer and sort of tailored like a man's shirt and I like them a lot.  I bought a couple from the Q that were the Camerion Beure line (sp). They are kind of a gauze material.  I also found a couple at Marshall's.  Marshall's has quite a few of what I consider big shirts.  For summer, I love to wear them  over tank tops open or just buttoned up.  So comfy and they cover my arms and are nice for air conditioning!
