3/4 length sleeves make me look dowdy.  I'm 5 ft. 0 in.

Bell sleeves - or most long sleeves - go past the middle of my hand.

Neither work for me.

I agree mostly about the big ones.

However I got A294436 from Isaac and it's a "bracelet" length which for my short arms are almost long sleeves and the bell isn't exaggerated.  It's actually a very slimming top and well priced!

@haddon9looks like a nice solution...graceful looking

@okaywitheasypayIt is graceful looking (good way of wording it) and fits me well.  I have to admit I was surprised since I have trouble with a lot of his pieces.  I liked it so much I went back and got another color.

Oh, stretch lace, ruffles around my butt, eyelet and embellished sweatshirts, sweaters, etc. (never owned one that didn't lose a stone/pearl at first wearing) can also "go".

What other items are you wishing would bite the dust?

I know they'd get in the way for me.  Also, not sure about putting a jacket or coat over them.  I'd probably enjoy the look on others...just not on me.

I really like the bell sleeves.  I have a cobalt blue knit top with bell sleeves that's a few years old.  I just bought another top - rose color sort of peasant top - with bell sleeves from Macys.  Another sweatery rust colored top from Chicos.  And a black v-neck dress from  Macy's.  They don't have long sleees - more like 3/4.  I guess you could tuck the sleeve under if it gets in the way of eating.  I don't care for the cold-shoulder tops - didn't buy any of those.  I did buy a few hi-low and shark hems tops/dresses over the last five years.

They go in and out of fashion, remember the 60's?  I think they look good (on someone else) but I have always been more or less about comfort and if a style gets in the way... I don't usuallywear it more than once or twice.

Dragging in the soup is funny.... can't stand that and neither can I stand bracelets that have magnet closure!  Just one dinner out where you're dragging the silverware across the table attached to your bracelet, well, it's off to the jewelerj's to get the magnets taken off!!

I liked the trend last winter, but I've had enough (and I only own one lol!).

I do love the one I bought, though washing my hands in a restaurant restroom while wearing it is practically impossible.

I've noticed that this season's versions are more apt to be 3/4 or bracelet length, which is more practical.

Why does EVERYTHING have to be about food and eating?! It's getting sickening. It's either comfort clothes or nothing on the Q lately.
