Re: Beautiful by Lawrence Zarian

San to say Susan, it looks like one of my craft projects but I'm sure quality is in his favor.

Lawrence has certainly improved his own clothing throughout 2024. He first appeared in ragged jeans and sneakers trying to sell women's better clothing. It was an odd combination.
During the next few months he appeared in 1970's polyester-type casual suits, which were ill-fitting yet he was still pushing women's better clothing. Did not compute with me.

Finally he appeared in an appropriate suit which fit him well last night. He was wearing dress shoes (well shined). He really looked nice! And, he finally looked the part of a man selling women's clothing.

Hopefully, Lawrence Zarian will continue to dress the part of a man selling clothing to women who want to purchase better clothing. We're interested in more natural fibers and style for office wear, please. (Less SW looks.)

ETA: Perhaps Lawrence will work to improve the material used (natural fibers, linings, and add backings* where needed to give the garments better fit, shape, and/or thickness) to plackets, pockets, hemlines, collars, belts, shoulders, wrists, waists, etc.  We also love real waist bands; zippers and pretty buttons for closures (not tie belts, please). Thanks!

* I'm drawing a blank for the correct word so have used "backing" in place of whatever I really mean!

Money screams; wealth whispers.

I don't like to bad mouth the hosts - but he's not for me.  I find him to be pushy and patronizing - like a used car salesperson stereotype.  I have put him on silent and bought a couple of pieces and they're ok, so far - not great - one I wish I'd returned.  I usually have to turn away because his approach doesn't suit me.

He has some pretty things, but they're not my style, nor my lifestyle (comfy retirement).

When he first came to QVC, I bought a beautiful blazer, plaid with a flower attached and receive compliments on it each time I wear it.  The quality appeared satisfactory.

At the same time, I bought some troussers which were very attractive and the quality was satisfactory but not high end.

I bought a blouse which I think compares to most of the QVC brands.  Although it is prettier than most.

Later, I bought the red linen dress and found the quality not to be as good as I had hoped.  So, instead of washing it myself, I sent it to the cleaners who can make most cheap look good but it did not.  It appeared to fade and the fabric was limp.  Just not like a medium or high grade linen.  I have not purchased anything subsequently. I gave the red linen dress to the clothing that we sent to North Carolina following the flooding they had.
