Basic Editions...vs Denimn and CO

Why the high prices on D and C. The Kmart brand has same style clothing, for lot less. There 8 inch pull on shorts were 8.00 today. There white cotton button down long sleeve shirts, 7.00. Where does QVC come up with these prices? I buy some D and C and would buy more, if prices were more reasonable.

I have noticed this, also. The same thing is true about the Laura Scott and Covington brands at Sears.

I have purchased Basic Editions before, some cute fashions. There are a couple of brands at Bealls (Texas) I like: Rebecca Malone and Hanna. They are a little more in price but with coupons and sales they are very affordable. These brands wash and wear very well.

Basic editions has been a very reliable brand for me. The clothes hold up really well. I always buy their workout shorts and basic t-shirts. They have some very cute elastic waist capri pants ans shorts,cotton tops,tanks,etc that are very denim n co styled. I think if I wore that style,I would definitely shop there.Wal-Mart also has some very cute pieces. Their clothes hold up really well too. I love nice things and want to look nice;but I am not a label snob for most things. I like mixing up my fashion purchases.

I absolutely agree. This is a great line for weight losers AND, they are often on sale at our local KMart.

I just bought 5 pair of capri's on sale online at KMart.com (free shipping over 59 dollars for a grand total of 66 dollars and change. Love Basic editions good quality and nice fit. I just posted earlier on how expensive SG is D&C is right up there and expensive shipping on top of high prices.
