@SilleeMee  Well, I too am a very small very short person and I like my less exaggerated barrel jeans.  While they do not make me look like I gained 20 lbs or more, at my weight and stature that is of no concern to me.  Doesn't sound like you've tried them so....  Trying new styles is fun instead of getting stuck in a rut.  Best you stick with what you like and works for you.

Actually they mask heavier thighs, as do trouser pants.  Clinging pants on heavier thighs is what accentuates them.

@Biftu I totally agree with you,  The barrel jeans hide things because they are not tight and form fitting.  Wearing something tight definitely makes everything bigger.

I'm a very small, short person and barrel jeans would make me look like I've gained 20 pounds if not more. I don't have thick thighs or big hips but those barrel jeans would make me look like I have them. I like my slim-fit jeans and jeggings much better.

@SilleeMee I am thin and petite and also don't have thick legs or big hips, and they don't make me look heavier by any means. Have you tried on a pair?

@Pecky

No. I have not tried them on. Might give it a thought though. I need to think outside my box...Woman Very Happy

Well now I am wanting to try a pair!   I like those that are not so exaggerated just like wide leg jeans.  I like the less exaggerated versions and I have a lot of wide legs (but slimmer versions).

I can see myself wearing them in the spring when the weather warms up....maybe with some sandals.  I am ready for spring once we get past the holidays! Smiley Happy

I would have to try on but something I don't think I would wear.

No---I think they look awful--and no, I haven't tried them on and prob won't. They are way too short and dumpy looking. I haven't seen any styled that look good.  JMO

Well yesterday I was at Dillard's and out of curiosity I tried on a few different brands of barrel jeans. The verdict...it's no-go for me. I just did not like the silhouette on me at all. I'm stickin' to slimmer leg jeans.
