Barrel Jeans come in various styles.  I recently bought them and love them.  IMG_1015.jpeg

Now those look much nicer than the others I have seen.  These look more like a capri then those barrels.

Not all barrel jeans are cut the same.  Some are more exaggerated than others. The ones @Teddixat posted is the cut i like best.

Happy for those who will try barrel jeans.  As a senior, they just don't look right on us.

I had those style of jeans in the 1970's so I had my turn wearing them.

I'm very senior and they look good on me.  Just your opinion that they don't look right on seniors.  The cut is not the same as the 70s jeans.

@Biftu  -  I agree with you so much.  All age groups can wear these jeans!

To me barrel jeans make your hips and thighs look bigger than they are.  Not a look I want for myself.

Actually they mask heavier thighs, as do trouser pants.  Clinging pants on heavier thighs is what accentuates them.

@Biftu I totally agree with you,  The barrel jeans hide things because they are not tight and form fitting.  Wearing something tight definitely makes everything bigger.

I'm a very small, short person and barrel jeans would make me look like I've gained 20 pounds if not more. I don't have thick thighs or big hips but those barrel jeans would make me look like I have them. I like my slim-fit jeans and jeggings much better.
