I just got the cutest pair of barrel high wasted jeans at Target for 27$.  They are usually 34.  They had all styles and colors of nice jeans.  I do watch my money but even if I didn't QVC seems out of touch.  Know don,t laugh, I am 84 and anyone would love these.  They are so comfortable and fit on top like the usual.  I go between an 8 or 6.  In these I got an 8 as very little stretch.  Was inspired by my 14 year old grandaughter.  I went back for a second pair.

@matty liz  I have bought a few from Lands End because they carry petites.  I like them because they are not tight.  I really really hate tight clothes.

Re: Barrel jeans

I bought a pair of barrel pants by Bagatelle which is a nice brand at Marshall's.  The cut on barrel jeans is different and something worth a try.  I like that they are fuller in the thigh making them comfortable. I think I paid $24 which is about what I like to pay for trying a new style.

Happy for those who will try barrel jeans.  As a senior, they just don't look right on us.

I had those style of jeans in the 1970's so I had my turn wearing them.

I'm very senior and they look good on me.  Just your opinion that they don't look right on seniors.  The cut is not the same as the 70s jeans.

I got a pair from the Gap Factory store. $24.99. I was skeptical at first but I like them. Mine are mid rise.
