I rely on Talbots for classic dressing in petite sizing.  If you follow the sales and are open to shop a bit off season, you can have quite a nice wardrobe of clothing that will serve your needs for a long time.

Appleseeds have a good selection at reasonable prices.
Now things are 50 to 80 percent off. I'm 4'10" wear a 8 or 10 petite short and do not have to hem their slacks.
My granddaughter is a teacher and wears 4 petite the inseam is 29". Perfect for her. Their blouses are beautiful and very well made. No ironing needed. Clothes are traditional but up to date. Do I like Appleseed ? YES I DO!

Talbots, Talbots, Talbots.  I worked on Wall St for several decades loved Talbots.  The Jackets, Skirts and Pants were sold seperately.  I needed different petite sizes in the top and bottom.  These pieces lasted forever.
