I've been a B. Makowsky purchaser for many years, long before he became as popular as he is today. I have many of his handbags. However, over the past few years, it seems as if the quality of his merchandise has been steadily declining. Perhaps it is the mass production.

Before, I used to know exactly what to expect when I received one of his bags, whether purchased ffrom QVC or elsewhere. Now however, I find colors transfer, straps unravel within a brief period of time, hardware breaks, metallic flakes, stitching comes undone, the leather quality is inconsistent etc., I know he and QVC make a lot of money off each other but it just seems as if not only is the quality suffering but also, some of his designs are going more towards KVZ, just 4 times the price. Just seems like he has gotten away from what made him a quality designer in the beginning. Is it just me?
