BCBGeneration Embroidered Organza Jacket

How would you style this to make it your own?

That zipper is way out of place on that material.  I can't imagine what I would wear that with.

Remove the zipper and it would be a great topper for a pair of leggings same shade of white -

Dark, dark indigo jeans and my new black stretch lace top from Logo, pink mock-neck tank underneath.

don't really like it at all. zipper is odd, and i really dislike the collar on it.

I think it would be nice for a dressy occasion, but without the big zipper.

I like the material but right about the zipper.  It messes up the coat (my opinion).  It draws attention away from the design and the material.

I would have liked to see something plain under it, any color, maybe even plain black to show up the design.  A bright color would even work but better nothing that would take away from the material, love the material.

its very pretty, but i would have to stick with jeans like in the picture. (because of the zipper)

I would put it over a black tank dress. With black sandals and a black and white bag.

Re: BCBGeneration Embroidered Organza Jacket

You brought back memories when I used to make my clothes when I worked.

I remember going into the fabric stores (a place called G Street Fabrics) it was like the place they'd go to get the fabrics on the design shows.  Fabric everywhere, it is amazing!

I love walking around all of the material and thinking, when I make this it will be one of a kind, no one else will have it but me.

That's a real head trip and makes a person feel really good.  I never loved sewing but I loved the outcome of the clothes and the compliments I'd get.

Not many people make their own clothes these days, do they?
