@BarbiHollywood I have washed my Barefoot Dreams items many, many times; have never had a problem with its plushness/softness....NEVER. I wash them on the gentle cycle with cold water.

I sometimes put them in the dryer, sometimes not. If I do put them in the dryer, I put it on the lowest heat or no heat choice and usually take it out before it completely dries and lay it on a towel on my bed.

Have never had it feel anything but how it did when I first received it.

I used to hang them on a very thick hangar in the closest, but on one presentation I remember the vendor suggesting that we really should just fold them before putting away. So now I have a designated BD shelf, or two, or three (ha!) for my BD items.

@Thanks @World Traveler I'm glad you replied.  Reading the post about how one gal's sweater lost it's original softness had me worried that mine would, too, and that it would end up living in the dry cleaners.  I can use some Woolite on gentle/delicate and I'm sure it'll be okay.   I appreciate you taking the time to reply.  Enjoy your BD items!

I received the pink color. I went with large to accommodate sweaters and it fits nicely, not a sloppy mess. It had some wrinkles so I hung on padded hanger, misted with water and let dry. It looks fine. I do HATE those plastic bags that the q uses. Shows no respect for the clothes.

Last month I bought two of the pullover sweaters with the drawstring hem. Love! Many of their items however would not work for me.

Part of the problem is the BD size chart. If I followed their chart I would have bought XL in both items. I bought large in the cardigan and medium in the pullover sweater. You need to go by the garment measurements.

I ordered the Graphite color and it fits beautifully.

It fits my casual lifestyle - I work from home, and like to be comfortable but presentable.
