I buy "as is" all the time, and I've honestly never been stuck. I used to buy terrific gold jewelry (no more!) but still buy clothing items and do fine. I am not inordinately picky though.

Wow, great replies. I guess when I put two things in my shopping cart that I wanted to travel with I started thinkin'. What if there was a less expensive way to buy these. I noticed an AS IS post or suggestion from someone and thought WHY NOT. The order has not arrived yet, but if it works I am going back for more before my last vacation of the summer season. Once I wear anything it is AS IS anyway.

I am especially interested in the Graver Romper. For a short gal like myself this is a perfect item. I would love to have it in black. I have two of the colors, brown (which is not brown) and a bright dark blue (color name escapes me). They are awesome and the so-called bathroom issue is not a problem in my case.

I buy 'As Is" items, nothing wrong with them. Great buys in fact at reduced prices.

And yes, you STILL can return them, no prob.

If you found something, go for it. Don't let something you want or have been looking at a great price pass you by.

For those who don't think they are customer returns, you might want to read the product descriptions. This is on every product page for as-is items:

This product may be a customer return, vendor sample, or on-air display and is not in its originally manufactured condition. It may not be new. In some instances, these items are repackaged by QVC.

I will guarantee you that romper will hit as is.

I have ordered many As Is items and everything so far was like new. You still have the 30 day money back guarantee so I wouldn't stress. More than likely it will be find. I have received the textured chenille sweatshirt in several colors at an As Is price of $12.95 and they were all like new, never washed. Good Luck!

"as is" are returned items. QVC inspects them, re-packages them and sells them at a discounted price. No, I never bought an "as is" item and I never will. First, the discounted price is never low enough for a used item. And the clothing items certainly are USED. Just read the posts here and you'll see what people do to items and how long they keep them and how often they wear something before they "decide" they don't want it. I have no way of knowing if Mary Jane was wearing underwear when she wore those returned pants out to lunch and then on to a shopping trip before she "decided" that the color wasn't exactly like the color of the pants when she saw them on tv. I love my handbags but I don't want a bag that someone put her stuff in and carried for 26 days before she "decided" it was too heavy and returned it. That's "as is". I do not believe that QVC or any shopping channel re-packages returns and sells them as brand new. That would be the absolute kiss of death for a shopping channel that did that. And there's no reason for them to such an under handed thing. Not to mention that the designers would not be happy about that practice at all because it would reflect badly on them and their products.

Bingo! But, truly the folks who buy "as is" don't want to believe that. Some just don't mind wearing used items and some are only interested in the lower price. If it doesn't have rips, stains or missing buttons. If it looks like it's new, that works for them. And there's nothing wrong with that.

I have good luck with As Is, recently I received a pair of Women in Control ankle length pants, and a denim and company skort that were very much reduced. As far as them being returns, that does not bother me. I have received items that were purported to be brand new at full price that I am certain were returns (earrings wrapped in kleenex rather than in plastic or a box...) I laundered the clothes before wearing them, so no biggie.

If I am sitting and relaxing, sometimes I will browse the As Is looking for bargains. I wouldn't give them as gifts, but just fun stuff for me,

I have only bought two AS IS items, one was an Easy Movers kit...just fine...the second was a Joan Rivers bangle with stones, that I had wanted but missed out on months before....I took a chance on it and it was perfect....not a scratch....came in the Joan Rivers velvet bag, but not the original box as I recall...it's been a while....but I would definitely take a chance on the easy pay if the savings was worth it...
