Article on Returns in our Local Paper

There was an article in our local paper tonight where a woman returned a pair of $70 pink sweatpants to Victoria's Secret. She received her credit and then the clerk proceeded to cut them in half right in front of her - there was nothing wrong with them. She was upset and went to the manager to find out why, if they didn't want to put them back on the rack, then why didn't they donate them. She investigated further and found that was their policy (except the clerk should not have done it in front of her).
