Didn't we wear square toe shoes with bell bottoms? I suppose they are better for our feet. No squashed toes. I do not particularly think they are appealing. Good news is that today very few styles are dictated as they were in the past. People wear what they like and what likes them.

While I wouldn't want a whole square-toe shoe wardrobe, I love them and would readily add a pair or two if I were to find the right look.

I would have to see the shoe on my foot to determing whether I would buy/wear square toed shoes. In general, just based on the VC shoes shown, I don't hate them.

 I would like them better in a heel...would have to get used to them in a flat.

I have a great pair of square toe, what they used to call "shooties" in a soft black leather with a great 3 inch stack heel. One of the most comfortable pair of heels I ever owned. I held onto them just in case. Well I wore them to a wedding last year and got a lot of compliments on my square toe shoes. I wore them with black tights and danced and danced...my hub wanted me to take them off to slow dance with him because I'm 6'3" in those shoes...he's 5"11 😏

I think they make your feet look  w-i-d-e .

My feet are already wide enough. Don't need to make them look wider.
