Any Sports Bra recommendations?

[ Edited ]

Has anyone found a good-quality sports / athletic bra that you actually like? I need one with adjustable straps and one that holds "me" fully in place (no bopping around)....I am a 36C for reference.  No underwires and.....I hate to say it, but price is NOT a factor if I can find a great sports bra. Any suggestions?

Girlfriend Collective dot com has a good selection of different styles, sizes and colors.  Just checked there and 30-50% sale is going on.  Good luck.

@Bella8888 @thank you for the suggestion. I checked out this site and, unfortunately, their sports bras do not have adjustable straps, which is a requirement for me (I tend to be short in the relevant body length if you understand). Buying a good sports bra is incredibly challenging.....for such an essential item.

Re: Any Sports Bra recommendations?

I agree.  Took me months to find the right fit but did find one or two that fit on that site.

Regarding straps, I am the opposite and long from the shoulder to 'under' area, so the girls tended to escape out of the coop because the straps are too short.

 Life is SOOO HARD!   😂

Re: Any Sports Bra recommendations?

I've worn the Glamorise Full-Figure No-Bounce Camisole Wireless Sports Bra #1066 for years and love it. I wear a 42C and have bought it at Her Room, Amazon and Kohl's over the years. Prices vary, but I don't think I've spent more than $35 or $40 for them. I tried to copy a picture from the Kohl's website, but I couldn't get it to paste here.

I've worn this bra while walking at a good pace in the neighborhood, on a treadmill and while using weight machines at the gym. It provides good coverage and great support without feeling like a binder. It washes well on the delicate cycle and hung up to air dry. Best of all - I don't bounce when I'm wearing it!

@Goldengate8361   I'm a "D" cup. The absolute best sports bra for me is Glamorise.  I have different styles, including racer back which has the added benefit of back support.

They feel great, look great, and have wonderful support.

Re: Any Sports Bra recommendations?

My cup size is large in relation to my chest and the only way to control the situation is underwire.  I know, I know .... but it is fact of life.  Some brands have lovely padding for the underwire.  Worth looking in to.

Re: Any Sports Bra recommendations?

@Caaareful Shopper I actually just ordered a glamorize bra on Amazon a little earlier today based on the recs others posted here in this thread. It's going to be delivered by 10 pm today (gotta love Amazon quick deliveries!). I hope it works...sizing is hard enough with regular bras.... side note: "Glamorize" sure seems like an odd name for a sports bra that will be routinely sweaty, etc during workouts... haha
