I want the sizes of the models, the host and the vendor when wearing it.

If you aren't bu buying a gift for the models, what difference could does it make. Models are only used for visusl interest and to show the garments on a body in motion.

Unless your body is exactly the same as the models, host, or vendor, how will that help you determine your size?
I just basically need to know if they've sized up or stayed true to size.

I have messaged Angel directly on FB to ask about sizing and she has always provided the needed information quickly and is always so personable, even in her messages. QVC would have much fewer returns if we just knew whether an item is true to brand sizing or whether we should size up or down.

Or sized down. This is critical information as far as I'm concerned and more so since Q stopped refunding postage for returns. If others on this thread don't care about it fine - but what does it hurt to give it for those who do need that info? Again, would you rather just have more banter and personal stories from the hosts, or this type of information? Why is there even a dispute about giving out this info? Geez.

I agree with Pearlet. I am a medium at QVC. If the model wears an xxs and says she went up to a xs then I probably need a large. It. Doesn't matter if we are the same size. If the model wears her usual size but it looks tight on her then I would consider going larger. It is helpful to see how long a top or skirt is on a model as I am only 5ft4 in and I can discern if that item would be good for my height.

@jonbon wrote:Hmmm, the OP's comment is surprising to me, as I always think Angel gives a lot of fit information. I am a "casual viewer" (I don't buy, but often have it on in the background), but on a regular Quacker show it seems as though she tells what sizes the models are wearing whenever they "go over to the girls." In fact, she's much better about it than many of the hosts, and she also frequently mentions when she sizes down, where things hit on her, etc.
Angel does do a great job at providing sizing and honestly, QF sizing is pretty consistent. I cannot even recall when I last (if ever) heard her advise customers to size up. QF is made for the baby boomer. I still don't understand how knowing that the 5'10 size model is wearing an XS is going to help a 5'4 size L woman with sizing...lol It's ridiculously funny.

My experience is with QVC clothing that it is vanity sizing. In other words it runs bigger then the size chart measurement's.

Very good point. Also, am I the only one that notices but many times models are poured in to a piece of clothing that is tight fitting, doesn't button and doesn't zipper closed? In fact, this "extra extra small" phenomenon of the hosts ( Sharon, Jane, Jill) is so misleading. I think the only ones that tell their true sizes as far as the hosts are concerned are Caroline, Lea and Jane Brown! The model Jackie's clothing usually gaps about 6 inches on blouses or jackets. So she can report her size honestly as an "extra large". Don't get me wrong, I like her. Obviously the models are being told what to wear and how to wear it but it's very disceptive....I go by my known measurements and the Size Chart that you have to hunt for that is particular to the garment ...

Why do you suppose they have models in all different body types: petite, tall, regular, slim, curvy? If yours was the case, we would have just one model.
