I agree that the dress was appropriate for a beach wedding.

Here in New Jersey we say "down the shore".

The wedding was on Long Beach Island. On any Saurday in the summer, LBI is very crowded. It is an island with only one route on/off the island. Traffic can be difficult.

The big news was that Taylor Swift was there. There are many pictures of her at the wedding online. You cannot imagine the havoc her presence created on the island.

The reception was at Parker's Garage, a very nice place, but still down the shore.

The wedding was not at a fancy venue/country club as many NJ weddings are.

@newjerseygirl An old neighbor who lived around the corner from me has a house on LBI. When her DH lost his job two years ago they decided to sell the house in my community and live down the shore full time.

I still see her occasionally and she told me and another friend that her daughter will be getting married at the shore next summer. I believe it's at the some place!

I think we might be invited since she told us to "save the date" but who knows?

I never liked all the hoopla for tradtional weddings including the attire. This wedding looked like something fun and relaxed without all the frills. I am sure the clothing was designer quality but without the overpriced gowns, mother of bride dresses, brides maids, tuxes, etc....

I loved all the bride's looks, especially the halter dress. She wore the same low heeled maryjane shoes for the rehearsal, wedding and reception. I suspect she would be taller than her groom had she worn heels. IMO, she looks young and fresh and beautiful.

Her husband, Jack Antonoff is a brilliant song writer and record producer who has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, including Taylor Swift. He was previously in a long term re!atuonahip with Lena Dunham of "Girls" fame.

From the pics, the entire weekend looked like a lot of fun!

The dress is on Cynthia Rowleys official shop site. Never looked at her designs before and I think her collections are awesome. There are very flattering photos of this particular dress and it's really pretty in my opinion. Would definitely wear it to a beach wedding! I bet Andie looked stunning. Wish more designers like this were available on qvc!
