And the First Wave Washes Up!

A big fat QVC bag landed on the porch with everything in it that I ordered in the WKs; I'm amazed it didn't split it's seams in the truck on the way. They really are cutting every possible corner. Anyway, 3 cardigans, one T neck, & a skirt, & I am completely happy with all of them, to whit:

The cardigans: got the lapis, the malachite, & the pewter. All beautiful, rich colors. The pewter really does look like pewter - I have a few very old pieces, & this knit really hits it - & the jeweltones are vibrant & rich. I love the shape of this new cardigan: it's a bit trapezoidal, very chic, fits me perfectly in my normal size. Some of you who have short arms may need to give the sleeves a bit of a roll, but I like that little bit of length at the end, & my arms are longish anyway. The arms are not as wide as the old button front cardigan, but they aren't tight, either. I am 5'7", & the bottom hits me at the high hip. The lapis over the matching T neck is so gorgeous, if you bought this combo, you will scream. I can't wait for the malachite T to come in, but I loved the lapis & the malachite together. And the pewter matched with the pewter skirt, popped with white? Groan. Also any of your other WK T necks in a vibrant color breaks up that grey while keeping you still very businessy.

We all have the T neck, so no need to go over that. You are going to love the skirt, so don't hang around dithering about it, or you will all be crying the blues & wasting a lot of time stalking. It fits perfectly, is total comfort, & rolls up to nothing for travel. It's a little longer - CHECK YOUR MEASUREMENTS - so you will have to do what a girl's gotta do, but, I'm telling you, it just glides over the 'ol tush. I'm going back & grabbing a couple more.

If there's anything I missed that anyone wants to ask about, feel free. I now need the ruby in everything.
