Am I Reading These Measurements Correctly?

Just checked out A267307 Liz Claiborne Ruana - looks very nice. Am I reading the measurements correctly it is O-S and says length 57" width 46 1/2" - so bust 46 1/2" and actual shoulder to bottom 57"??? Also what is the difference between a ruana and poncho - I think ruanas go over your head and ponchos go on like a coat? Hope length is 57" as ponchos generally not long enough. Many thanks for any help.

Re: Am I Reading These Measurements Correctly?

Ponchos go over the head and generally are shorter than a ruana.  A ruana is traditionally a long rectangle of fabric split up the middle about half way.  It goes on like a cape but is not shaped like a cape. It is likely that the measurements given are that of the total length and width of the fabric.

Hope this helps!
