Not all of us have had good experiences with AS IS merchandise. For me shoes and clothing is a no no, the things I ordered were definitely worn quite a few times before the month was out. Of course, I returned them.I have had good luck with higher end products like Waterford crystal.

This product may be a customer return, vendor sample, discontinued inventory, or on-air display and is not in its originally manufactured condition. It may not be new. In some instances, these items are repackaged by QVC. Accordingly, the manufacturer may not honor any original warranty. However, QVC's standard return policy still applies. A card will be included in your package explaining these points in greater detail.

You know you may be right. He might have meant I have to pay for shipping return which I already knew. Thanks for all the help from everyone. For the money I will save I figured it was worth the try.

Yes, it's worth the try.  If something is wrong with the item, you send it back on the Qs dime.  I buy mostly as is and rarely have an issue.

I have purchased quite a few AS IS items over my 28 years with QVC.  Only once did I return a clothing item.  It was a sweater that reeked of perfume.  I soaked it in vinegar overnight, and washed it, but couldn't remove the smell.  I don't know how it was ever sent out in the first place!  Q even credited my return shipping in this case.

If I have ordered something at full price that I really like, I often go for another color by watching AS IS and Clearance.

@Tink49  The items I have purchased "As Is" have been fine.  However, one pairs of shoes that were suede with rubber soles came to me filthy dirty.  I did not want to touch them.  I called CS and the Q paid for postage back and postage to me.  I was surprised that the Q would accept something back in that condtion and turn around and send out As Is.

I have enjoyed all the As Is products purchased except for clothes. My recent purchases  have had to be sent back; either too small or too large and it's not worth the price of sending them back anymore., it gets quite expensive   with both return shipping and the other $3.00 return fee on each item purchased.

@Tink49  To return any as is item is certainly the process for anything you buy here. You certainly can return any item despite the reasoning. If it doesn't fit, you don't like it, not w hat you expected, wrong color, ripped, torn, stinky - it does not matter.

Don't ever think you're STUCK with anything here ever albeit on sale, clearance, last clicks, as is.

@IMW  This has never been a policy for any as is item that you cannot return it. That's simply not true.

I actually buy quite a few as is items because if I find an item that I really want I'll constantly check as is to see if the item is there at a much lesser price. 99% of the time any item I've ever purchased as is has been just fine and in perfect shape.

And the flip side is the 1% that just did not work out, I returned it no problem.
