Hi,  Style Sisters!

How was your week?

Making good progress as far as rounding up family presents and wrapping them.

Our family Christmas seems to be a bit fragmented since DD married all those years ago. We split times between our Iowa family and here (Pittsburgh).

Sometimes life goes in directions we hadn’t anticipated. There will be a funeral in Iowa (circle of life?) and I had the ghastly experience of going to the ER (my decison) with flu symptoms and AACK‼️ I was admitted practically on the spot.

Everything in the way of tests were run. CT scans, O2, blood tests…all looked ok except for a VERY HIGH white count. So pumped full of antibiotics‼️

But but but the O2 was very low so I got sent home with two strange little devices to breathe into and out.  Low oxygen was getting me down!

The Christmas present in all of this was that I now know WHY I was SO WEAK and very tired‼️ all year.

“Nobody got time for that!”

I am posting a day early because if I can sleep in tomorrow I’m going for it! Thinking of all at this holiday special time!💋🎄❣️🎍💟⛄️☃️🎅🏻❄️🚙🎼🫎

I hope TODAY starts off better than yesterday.    Friday morning, I woke up to a jammed garbage disposal.    

Then, in the afternoon, my bathroom cabinet door flew open and the whole top shelf propelled out and everything landed on the tile floor SMASHED.

@LTT1    What an ordeal your had.  Glad you found the reason for low energy and not feeling well.  Hopefully you are on the road to recovery....put your feet up this weekend and rest.

In addition to these "trials and tribulations"

due to health concerns...

we are expecting ❄️ and lots of it, I guess

So I’m learning how to order food from "Uber" 🤗 because have been avoiding lots of crowded places! And wouldn't you know, I cleaned out and tossed all my stored paper masks!

@LTT1      Thanks for starting us off again.  Good idea to start it last night.  I'm sorry to hear about your health issues.  My brother lives in CO and has been in and out of the hospital the past few months from being so tired, weak, etc.  Kept giving him blood transfusions and it seems when we talked this week he is turing the corner and getting stronger.  I wish you the best of health.  Slow down with Christmas prep...all will understand if you can't do all the holiday traditions this year.

On the fashion scene....liked the JR flannel shirt, but not doing the $70 asking price.  Are you shopping for you today, gals, or looking for some last minute gifts?

Wrapped many gifts yesterday to pack and prep for shipping today to family in SC.  Sent some gifts via the Q and A, but needed to send several items I've been gathering the past 6 months.  Hard to wrap when eyes are teary knowing we won't all be together for the holidays.

@Desertdi      Good grief....what a mess to have to clean at this extra busy time of the year.

Garbage disposal issues...yuck.  A few years ago DH jammed ours with brussel sprout leaves 1 day before Thanksgiving hosting for 15.  Got the plumber to come, but it was costly.  What a pain.

My hope is no more big issues before your holiday celebrations.
