Hi Style Sisters!

Do you have any warm weather fashion plans?

Mine center around getting more exercise so the leg muscles are toned for wearing shorts!

My apologies for disappearing early from last week’s discussion.  A migraine hit hard.  😱

Excitement here in Pittsburgh. Our city went all-out to celebrate and entertain guests for the 2026 NFL Draft. It has been fun and spectacular.

Good morning! My warm weather fashion plan is to stay indoors with AC! Ha. 

@LTT1 Pittsburgh is having a moment....with NFL draft and The Pitt. I've actually never been to this city. Looks lovely!

@LTT1 Good Morning. I enjoy reading your Saturday morning thread. Sorry to hear about your migraine.  I have had them my whole life.  I take a lot of medication to keep mine in check.  They sure can ruin a day.

I am going to watch volleyball practice for my granddaughter this morning.  She is 11 and really enjoying the sport.  Her brother, 15, is playing in a golf tournament tomorrow.  It's a busy weekend for us but we are grateful to be able to attend and enjoy their events.

Pittsburgh sure is having a moment.  The city looks amazing for the NFL draft.  Being a lifelong Steelers fan, I have really enjoyed watching the draft this year.  Great job!

Good morning...sorry to hear about your migraine @LTT1.. My niece would get those and it really took a toll on her.

Rainy cool weather today, but we did have a couple of nice days his week and finally got our lawn mowed. My husband cannot mow any longer and getting it done was difficult because of the weather.

I am not doing much shopping, unless something speaks to me...right now I am busy refinishing a project in my garage.  It is almost done except for the dental molding trim that I cannot decide what to do with, it will take some thought.

I need to bake a red cake today, my step daughters birthday is today and she will come over tomorrow for cake.

I read that the crowd for the NFL Draft has been the largest ever. Well done Pittsburgh!  I watched the 1st Round and part of the 2nd Round.

Speaking of leg muscles, I'm right there with you 😁

A few years ago I purchased the Leg Master that QVC used to sell.  You stand on it, hold onto the handles, and use your legs to slide the foot pedals out with your legs. It has done wonders!  Too bad it's not manufactiured any longer.

Yes...I have my MITTENS ready to grab the steering wheel when I am parked in a strip mall.     (Metals, hard plastic, and pavement, can get up to 180° in the sun).

I keep beach towels on the car seats and backrests...so I don't burn my...ummmm..."posterior".

Good morning all!

No Leah on AM Style so I am switching back and forth between the local news and the show.  I am not buying anything though.

My preparation for the coming soon to stay a while warm weather is to stay inside with the a/c too.  First I have to call to get the a/c serviced.

@LTT1 -glad your migraine is gone.  I had a friend that use to get them all the time, I empathize it can be debilitating.

One thing about commuting to work for many years by train or bus is all the walking too in the city  My legs are toned and ready for the shorts, dresses and skirts.

My husband must have watched the NFL draft if it was televised, he watches all the sports.  I just watch basketball.I've been to different parts of PA but I don't think I ever been to Pittsburgh.   Sounds like it was fun and exciting.

@LTT1      Sorry to hear you suffer with migraines.  My oldest daughter suffers and takes the Botox shots in her head to help.  I suffered with them in my 30's, but then they just stopped fortunately.

Plans for attending a fund-raising Dinner/Dance this evening.  Will have to start thinking about what "style" to wear!!  LOL

Traveled north to one of our GD's campus to take her out to dinner for the final time at out alumni university.  Bittersweet as she graduates May 9 then off to law school for her.  Her older sister secured a permanent teaching position for next school year, so good news week for our family.

Missing Leah, but Terri is fine.  Don't NEED another thing in clothing which is being reinforced as I am switching from Winter to Summer in my closet.  Ugh!!

@Caaareful Shopper     I remember when they use to demonstrate that item for your legs.  Glad to know it works for you.  Often thought I should have purchased, but was afraid "the owner" wouldn't use it!  LOL
