I've wondered for quite some time.... what is the big whoop about Italian leather?  Do they feed their cows something different that changes the leather at the physical level or is it the way Italian's process the leather?

Bird>>>you crack me up. I read your post to my hubby and he retorted..."Yes, they feed them pasta. Makes a huge difference."  Perhaps?

I think boat shoe when I look at the TSV.  I don't know why I don't immediately think espadrille.  It doesn't matter one way or the other, but I see boat or deck shoe.

Okay, I just figured it out.  This is a flat espadrille and I identify with it as an espadrille.  I think it's the stitching that connects the sole of the shoe to the rest of the shoe that makes it an espadrille for me.

This week went to LE store at Sears and returned the long down coat I'd gotten - it's great but so few days when I'd wear it. They had great markdowns & I got two long sleeve cotton tees - emerald and white - and a berry/plum fleece vest for $25 total.

@Buttercups, great deals for the LE tees and vest! I always forget they are at Sears. Will try to remember next time I'm in the city that has a Sears in the mall.
