Good morning friends. Cute boots today as the TSV. Of course, not in need of any so won't be buying. I like the colors offered though.

It is going to be a lovely 71 degrees and sunny today, feeling blessed with the northeast weather after watching all that the south has been through in recent days. We are planning on covering the deck furniture today and taking down the awning cover on the pergula. We do try to prepare early in the fall as the weather turns quickly here and we don't want to be out there when it's freezing!

Tomorrow we are going to our friends' house to watch football, then going out for an early dinner. Not cooking today either, I feel a pizza night coming on

Good morning, Style Sisters ...

Our weather has dropped like a dumbell, which is good for all the runners in town for the annual Chicago Marathon on Sunday ... there are thousands of new visitors this weekend ... the joint is really jumpin'.

I had doctors' appointments on Thursday ... after another CT showed I have a separated rotator cuff, I saw the ortho surgeon who said it's only going to get worse and recommended I have replacement surgery. I had a cortisone injection for the immediate pain, and I'll decide about having the surgery in three months or so.

Also saw my primary doc and had my flu and covid shots ... oh, the joy; three shots in one day!

It was a gorgeous day so after I finished with the appointments, my son, who was my driver, and I went to Longhorn Steakhouse and had a steak with all the fixins' ... I needed that, LOL!

Both arms are still sore, so no work around the house or yard ... I'll watch college football 'til it's coming out of my ears ... and catch up on Chicago PD and Chicago Med ...

No new purchases ... I receive my beige boots and they are a winner, winner.
