@LindaSal Just a tip from someone who has had more eye issues (conjuctivitis, foreign objects) than anyone else I know.
Change your pillowcases daily. Conjunctivitis can spread from one eye to the other ![]()

@Bird mama wrote:Good Morning, I'm sorry that I missed the chat in its entirety. I fell off of a ladder (only 3 rungs up) on Memorial Day and landed on a concrete surface standing straight up (kind of a blessing). I broke my right foot. So far looks like the calcaneus (heel) bone only according to urgent care. Won't know the extent of damage until I see foot doctor on June 17th when he will probably ask for a ct scan to determine the damage.
Can't put any weight on the right foot and it's been interesting. Still living my life (inside the house at least) like I always did except that it takes me 4x longer to get from point a to point b.
Could have been worse.
I can't believe you have to wait until June 17th for a CT scan. That isn't acceptable. It seems the healthcare in Michigan is suffering. My sister had to wait 2 months to have someone look at a spot on her leg. She is taking treatments now for melanoma. SMH
I hope you can get a resolution and relief sooner rather than later.
All the best~

YAY🎉 STEELERS!
And something amusing (to me)
My best teaching friend back in Texas is from this very area and she and her family transformed their back porch area into a STEELERS NATION!
We traded places!

@Bird mama It's actually in both eyes, just one is worse than the other. Thank you for the tip though, I truly appreciate that!
ETA: I just read that you were injured, oh my, wishing you a speedy recovery!

@tends2dogs I probably could have gotten the full monty (lol) if I had gone to ER. I went to urgent care and had 3 x-rays. 3 weeks isn't really that bad to get in with a doctor here. I just rescheduled my June appointments with an endocrinologist who has been treating me for a decade and her earliest appointment was September.
